PCMHA U9 Assessments - Update (October 24th)

2020-10-24

PCMHA: U9 Assessments (Update - October 24th)
For new and returning players that are registered for the U9 division:
All players playing U9 Division in Pictou County must attend an assessment so that they can be placed with their appropriate group (Development, Intermediate and Advanced) for the 2020-2021 Season.
Please note that U9 assessments are not tryouts. Players will participate in a series of drills that will assess their skill level going into the 2020-2021.
U9 assessments are now going to be held on Sunday November 1st at the Trenton Rink. Please see the PCMHA post on the assessment questions that needs to be answered before entering the rink. We are going to need some assistance with this. Hoping that there might be a couple parents from each group, that will be able to verify this screening check as parents/players enter the rink.
The first ice time is 9 am, then every hour after that for each group.
There is also ice time on Saturday (October 31st) , in Trenton as well, to give the kids a skate before assessments. If you’re able to make that, it will follow the same groups and ice time as listed, so both days you will have the same ice time.
If your child's name is NOT on the list attached or for those U7 players that are 6 years of age and would like to try out for the U9 Division, please contact development@pcmha.com with any questions or to add your player to the assessment list.
With Covid, it’s recommended you arrive 20 min before the ice time and players partially dressed if possibly.
This information is also posted on our website.
