Bantam A's Earn Three Points
2015-12-01The Pictou County Bantam A Crushers played a home and home with the Truro Bearcats this past week-end and earned 3 points in league play.
The Crushers faced–off in Truro on Saturday and came away with the 3-2 win with the help of a productive power-play. Scoring for the Crushers was Evan Shea, Ian MacDonald and Jansen Langille. Spencer Murray (2), Brycen MacDonald, Nole Chapman, Evan Reynolds and Luke Young tallied assists. Keigan Walker earned the win in nets.
On Sunday, the Bearcats scored twice in the first to take an early lead and they held that lead until the end of the second. The Crushers managed to rally in the third and finished with a final score of 3-3. Scoring for the Crushers was Sam Hickey, Shea, and Braydon Killen. Assists went to Young, Murray, Ian MacDonald and Thomas Devine. Vaughn MacEachern was strong between the pipes.
