Effective December 1, 2024, any Coaches/Bench Staff without complete credentials will be removed from their roster/bench.

Ultimately, it is the responsibility of PCMHA, Risk Management, and the Head Coach to notify non-certified bench staff of the required qualifications before returning to the team. Every team has been notified of the bench requirements. PCMHA Risk Management will send notification to each team outlining who must be removed from the bench, and what credentials are needed.

Once required credentials are completed for reinstatement or to check the status of your credentials, please reach out to Stacey Munroe at risk.pcmha@gmail.com or Carla King at pcmha.hockey@hotmail.com.

Any team official who is found to be in violation will be suspended. Please see Regulation 11.13:
HNS- Regulation #11.13- Coach Certification, will be suspended indefinitely until certification for that official has been approved by HNS and it has been added to the HCR. The minimum suspension for a first offence is five [5] games after all certification is updated, a second offence will result in the team official being suspended for one full calendar year.  HNS, HNSMC and HNSFC reserve the right to lengthen these suspensions depending on the circumstance involved in each violation.
