Pictou, Nova Scotia has been named the third winning community in the Kraft Celebration Tour.

As part of the Kraft Celebration Tour, Pictou hosts a special edition of SPORTSCENTRE with anchors Darren Dutchyshen and Jennifer Hedger when they broadcast live from the Nova Scotia community on Sunday, Aug. 22 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Pictou also receives a $25,000 community refresh from Kraft Canada that goes towards renovating Hector Arena with a new roof and floor.

Located on the Northumberland Shore of Nova Scotia, Pictou - a rural town with a population of 3,800 - is considered the 'Birthplace of New Scotland' as the first wave of Scottish immigrants landed here in 1773. The Hector Arena, built in 1972, supports healthy and active living in the community with its various sports and recreation programs for residents of all ages.
