Wonder Auto Bantam AA Crushers Drop a Pair on Weekend

The Wonder Auto Bantam AA Crushers played two games this past weekend.  The first game went Friday night in Antigonish at the Millenium Centre. The Crushers were down a pair of goals early to the Bulldogs, but stormed back in the third period on two quick goals by Daniel Molyneaux and Brayden MacDonald to tie things up. Assists going to MacDonald, Luke and Riley Sheehan. Antigonish were able to capitalize on a Crushers defensive breakdown in the final 2 minutes to take the game 3-2. Game 2 went on Saturday at the Legion Stadium in Truro vs the Bearcats. It was an action packed game, with the Bearcats coming out on top 4-2. Scoring for the Crushers were Spencer Creed and Kyle Walsh. Assists going to Zach Houston and Matt Munroe. A third game vs the Bearcats that was to be played on Sunday at the PC Wellness Centre was postponed because of bad weather. The Crushers are away to the Royal Canadian Legion Challenge Cup this coming weekend in Sydney.
