Wonder Auto Bantam AA Crushers Play a Trio of Games on the Weekend

The Wonder Auto Bantam AA Crushers played three games this past weekend. Game 1 went Friday night at the PC Wellness Centre vs the Antigonish Bulldogs. The Crushers started out strong, but could not maintain the pressure, falling 3-1 to the Bulldogs. Scoring the lone goal for the Crushers was Matt Martin, assisted by Brayden MacDonald and Kyle Walsh. Game 2 on Saturday saw the Bantam AA Crushers welcome the West Hants Warriors to the PC Wellness Centre. It was a very exciting game, with lots of back and fourth action. The Crushers were outshot by a large margin, but were able to manage a 3-3 tie. Scoring for the Crushers were Michael MacGillivary, Daniel Molyneaux, and Connor Boudreau with a blast from the point to tie things up. Assists went to Boudreau, Zach Houston, Sam McDow, Luke Sheehan, and Kyle Walsh. Ryan Royles was once again solid in goal for the Crushers. Game 3 had the Crushers travelling to Windsor Exhibition Stadium on Sunday to play the Warriors in a second match. The Crushers gave up the first goal early, but never looked back, skating to a 4-2 victory. Spencer Creed, Conner Boudreau, Kyle Walsh and Matt Martin scored for the Crushers. Assists went to Alex MacKinnon with a pair, singles to Daniel Molyneaux, Martin, and Braydon MacDonald. Nick Laffin made many stops in goal, picking up the win. The Wonder Auto Bantam AA Crushers next games are a home at home with the South Shore Ice Sharks. Game 1 is at 4:30pm in Bridgewater at the Lunenburg Community Lifestyle Centre, and Game 2 goes on Sunday at 2:15pm at the PC Wellness Centre.
